About Ashish Rai

Ashish Rai was born to Shrimati Vimlaben Rai and Shri Arvind Kedarnath Rai, an opulent family living in Surat Gujarat in the year 1986. Since childhood he was brought up with the belief that, “Education is the key to unlock the golden door to freedom and success ” and abiding by this he pursued engineering from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and further pursued MBA from, University of Pune.

His father Shri Arvind Rai has been the counselor of SMC in the year 1987 and following the footsteps of his father Ashish Rai has also set his foot in Indian National Congress.

As a young boy he was always influenced by the stories of the great patriots of the nation and had a vision of working for the progress of the Motherland India. Inspired by the Martyrs who fought for the freedom of the country and brought independence to the nation and after that strived tremendously for the economic development of the country by our Indian National Congress leaders is where he finally decided to join Indian National Congress.

Contested for the youth Congress elections in the year 2012 and achieved victory in assembly. He has always been the strongest proponent of politics of purpose. Always made head ways to protest against public issues in his assembly and surpassed public voices against the ruling government body. Ever since he joined Indian National Congress he has been working for the organisation on various platforms on different receding positions. Currently embarked as the Joint-Secretary in the Gujarat Pradesh Congress committee and an Observer of Jalalpore and Gandevi taluka of Navsari district.
